
Sofia Coppola's new film On the Rocks pairs her with Bill Murray again, as well as Rashida Jones and Marlon Wayans, in a New York-set story.
The debut trailer for On the Rocks pairs Bill Murray and Rashida Jones as a father-daughter duo with a rocky relationship. The new movie, coming this October to Apple TV+, is written and directed by Oscar winner Sofia Coppola (who won for her Lost in Translation screenplay). It's also her first movie since 2017's remake of The Beguiled.
A24, who will distribute the film theatrically, recently released the first trailer for On the Rocks. It opens with Jones and Murray's characters seemingly reconnecting over lunch and drinks. However, things take a turn when they decide to follow Jones' character's husband and hijinks ensue. Check out the first trailer for On the Rocks below:
