M Resort offers the best high limit real money blackjack game away from the Strip. It has a double deck with double down before and after splitting and a six-deck shoe that adds surrender and re-split aces. The dealer stands on all 17’s at both games. The bet limits are $50 to $5,000.

The closest high limit salon in the locals market is at Rio. There are two games available at the only Caesars Entertainment casino located in the locals market. Players will find a six-deck game that permits double down before and after splitting as well as surrender. This game stands on all 17’s. There is also a double deck with double down before and after splitting. This game hits soft 17. Both games have limits of $100 to $10,000.

Red Rock offers two improved games in its high limit salon. There is a double deck with double down before and after splitting as well as re-split aces. This game hits soft 17. The bet range here is $50 to $5,000. There is a six-deck game with double down before and after splitting plus surrender. This game stands on all 17’s. The limits are $100 to $10,000.

Aliante Casino and Palms both have high limit salons. The one at Palms is only open upon request. Aliante Casino’s games are the same as the ones on the floor with a higher minimum bet.

Best Low Limit Games

The best low limit game out of the list below is at Silverton. It is a $10 double deck where players may double down before and after splitting as well as re-split aces. The dealer hits soft 17. Blackjack pays 3-2. Silverton offers a $5 six-deck blackjack game with these same rules.

Many casinos away from the Strip offer a $5 double deck game with good rules. Double down before and after is permitted at these tables. The dealer hits soft 17 and blackjack pays 3-2. Players will find this game at Gold Coast, The Orleans, Suncoast, Rampart, Texas Station, Fiesta, Santa Fe Station and Palace Station. There are two casinos in this group that offer single deck blackjack that pays 3-2. Players may only double down on 10 and 11 and not after splitting. The dealer hits soft 17. Hooters, now OYO Casino, and Silverton spread this game. The minimum bet is $10 at both casinos.

Bad Off-Strip Blackjack Games

There are still some terrible games away from the strip. Most of these are found at Rio. There are eight-deck blackjack tables there that pay 6-5 on blackjack and do not permit double down after splitting. The two video blackjack machines at Rio also pay 6-5. Red Rock spreads 6-5 Free Bet Blackjack. All of these games have a house edge of over 2%.

Fiesta has a $3 six-deck game that pays 6-5. Bets under $5 receive even money. Players will find 6-5 single deck at Red Rock, Palms, Rio, The Orleans and Suncoast. All of these games should be avoided. Each one of these casinos spread good 3-2 games just steps away from these tables.
